Build A Birdhouse Workshop

Building a birdhouse is a fun and rewarding project that can benefit both you and the birds in your own backyard! Attend our Build A Birdhouse workshop and learn how to create a safe and cozy home for our feathered friends while perhaps gaining a new skill and appreciation for woodworking.
Our workshop is a little later this year but the federal Migratory Bird Convention Act states that general bird nesting season spans from April 15th to August 15th, with some species extending nesting activity even later!
Our workshop will be led by local woodworker Erick again (thank you Erick!), who will guide you through the process step by step. You will put together the pieces to build your birdhouse and paint your finished product. Not only will you leave with a unique and personalized birdhouse, but you will also have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to create a welcoming habitat for our local bird species!
This event will only happen weather-permitting! Pounding all the nails inside the Hall last year was very loud so we need to do the building outside!
Drop in anytime between 11:00 and 1:00 PM.
Cost is $5 if you want to build and paint and $10 if you prefer to just paint a constructed birdhouse. Cash payment will be accepted at the workshop. Limited space is available so please email us at brookvillehall@gmail.com to reserve your spot!
