Canada Day Pancake Breakfast 2024 Wrap-Up

Canada Day Pancake Breakfast 2024 Wrap-Up

It was a rainy day for our Canada Day Pancake Breakfast this year but we still had a great turn-out and many happy customers! 🇨🇦 ♥️
Sending a shout-out to our amazing volunteers who shared their time with us to help make our pancake breakfast a great success: Lorie and Daren Fitzowich, Sophie Homeniuk, Suzanne Robinson, Clint Lacroix, Face Painter Maielle Lacroix and Craig Sargent, who cooked all of the delicious little sausages and pancakes again.  The BCL executive team, that’s me, Brenda and Karen, our V-P and Treasurer, was also there to prepare and greet and serve. It was a busy place from 9:00 to Noon; there were 133 breakfasts enjoyed and that’s not including our volunteers! Yay!
Safe to say that everyone enjoyed what Michelle at Twisty Girl Balloons was creating for us up on the stage that day! Wow; so many left with a piece of her art and they weren’t all children either! Yay again!
Thank you to all that came out for breakfast; it was a great group for smiles and conversation. Watching everyone reunite and visit and meet other people in the community is definitely one of the greatest rewards for organizing these events at our Hall!
We appreciate all the positive feedback and compliments that we received about the breakfast and our renovations too! Thank you as well to those that left the community league a donation. We really are a great community out here, aren’t we!!
We look forward to the next time that we can all gather again.
Thank you for your support!
Lisa ✌🏼♥️
